Dawn Richard Pays Homage to Danity Kane in ‘‘86’ Video

Dawn Richard fait un hommage à Danity Kane dans son clip "86" 

Dawn Richard may be a solo star, but she hasn’t forgotten where she came from. The former Danity Kane member reflects on the past in the short film for “’86.” In the Eugene Lee Yang-directed video (“Wild N’ Faith”), Dawn sports chain armor and a mask as she battles with a warrior in what appears to be some Danity Kane-esque apparitions.

“‘86’ is an homage to my past,” explains Dawn. “Everyone wants to look at the Danity Kane thing as a negative but it’s a positive. The girls have been and continue to be a guiding force in my journey throughout this music business.”

The video is set to debut in the next week, while Dawn’s Christmas EP Whiteout arrives on December 1.

Dawn Richard peut être une star en solo, mais elle n'a pas oublié d'où elle venait. L'ancienne membre de Danity Kane se penche sur le passé dans le court-métrage pour son clip "86." Dans la video de Eugene Lee Yang qui a réalisée le clip ("Faith N 'Wild»), Dawn porte une armure en chaîne et un masque, elle se bat avec un guerrier  et il y a des apparitions.Danity Kane-esque.

«86» est un hommage à mon passé », explique Dawn. "Tout le monde veut regarder Danity Kane comme une chose négatif, mais c'est un point positif. Les filles ont été et continuent d'être une force importante dans mon voyage dans ce monde de la musique. "

La vidéo fera ses débuts la semaine prochaine, tandis que l'EP de Dawn pour Noël Whiteout sortira le 1er décembre.
